Domain Availability Checker

// check a name across 10 popular TLDs at once, with live prices

Checks: com, io, dev, app, co, net, org, ai, xyz, me

What does this tool check?

It checks whether a domain name is registered across 10 popular TLDs simultaneously, using live RDAP/DNS lookups and registrar pricing — not a cached, stale database. Available names show a live registration price from real registrars.

How to use this tool

  • Type just the name — no TLD, no https://
  • Green means available, gray means already taken
  • Prices shown are the lowest quote found across checked registrars
  • Click a price to go register that domain

Why check multiple TLDs at once

Most good short .com names are already taken, but that doesn't mean the project name is unavailable — it might just need a different extension. Developer-focused TLDs like .dev, .app, and .io often have far more availability for the exact name you want, and are widely accepted for software projects and side projects.

Checking availability doesn't mean the name is unclaimed everywhere — trademark and brand conflicts exist independently of domain registration status. Always do a basic trademark/brand search before committing to a name for a real business.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where do these results come from?+
Live RDAP and DNS lookups via the dotsweep API, checked fresh for each search — not a cached list that can go stale. Pricing comes from real registrar quotes (Cloudflare, Porkbun, Dynadot) at the time of the check.
Why does an "available" domain sometimes cost more than expected?+
Some strings are registry-flagged as "premium" names and carry a much higher price than the standard registration fee, which RDAP checks alone can't detect in advance. The price shown is the standard rate; premium pricing (if it applies) will show once you go to actually register it.
Does checking a domain reserve it?+
No. Checking availability doesn't reserve or flag the name in any way — it's a read-only lookup. If you want it, register it promptly; availability can change at any time.
